Need Help Finding Compatible Brake Light Switch for 2001 QX4

Most if not all of the brake switches on Amazon, eBay and local autoparts retailers (e.g. Auto Zone, O' Reilly, Advance Auto Parts, etc.) are not correct. I've bought one from Amazon and one from AutoZone and both were both had the incorrect blade size and body size. The blade size on my 2001 Infiniti QX4 are small compared to what is sold as aftermarket compatible switches. The problem with most of the pictures provided with the ads for Amazon and eBay is they don't show an end view of the terminals to determine the size of the terminals. For those that do you can see they all have larger terminal blades.

What are the forums recommendation for online discount factory Infiniti part distributors. I need to check local dealer too but I know they'll be expensive.

Take a look at rockauto. When you click on INFO for a part, it brings up a large photo. You can look at several photos of each part by clicking on the arrows ( < > ) at the top of the photo.

Most brake light switches have a picture of the blades.

Did you happen to accidently pull the cruise control release switch? Looks almost the same. They have those on rockauto also, so you can check the picture for those.
