my cousin and i are working on his 90 nissan 240sx. we just replaced the spark plugs and the car seemed to be running fine. after the engine heats up, the engine starts to "bog." when you floor the accelerator, the engine sometimes seems to choke and there seems to be a lack of power as when it was running smoothly. we took a look inside the engine and we can see sparks from the engine to the spark plug wire on the 1st and 3rd spark plugs. that isn't normal right? could it be the wiring and that needs to be replaced or is it a more serious problem?

your spark plug wires need to be replaced. The shielding was damaged or worn. Replacing it should solve the problem.
