Hey everyone, I need some quick help if possible. My alternator belt needed changing so I did that last night, no big deal. Well, I forgot to tighten the bottom mounting bolts for the alternator back down and after my 45 min drive into work this morning a few miles from the office the belt started squeaking like crazy. The bolts fell out... Now my truck is stranded and I need to know the length and size of the bolts. Thankfully Home Depot is close and I have tools with me but I haven't a clue what to get.

Thank you!

Also, I believe it's two bolts in there after i bought one long bolt and can't get it through. If anyone can confirm if it is a long bolt I'll just go beat on it until it gets through.

Thanks PEZi, soon as I tried the long bolt I thought I remembered it was two last time this happened to me 3 years ago. Time for some night time repairs :-)
