wuuuuz up everyone, just checking to see what all is going on. I've been getting alerts on my phone all day saying that I've got email from Nico. I just got a cheap set of driving ligths that I'm gonna try to mount sometime this week. I really need to wash my car since I really haven't done it since I got it back in June It's not that bad, but bad enough; who knows, maybe I'll have a new sig sometime soon

I'm playing hookie from work today.

I woke up this morning feeling like crap. I feel better now but don't want to go into work now that I've called in sick. Its just as well though. My dad will be comming up to visit this weekend so I gotta have my place in good order. (Dad was always big on clean).

Gimp2 is an opensource editing program. It can do everything photoshop can do. I just never bothered to learn it because I have photoshop.

http://www.gimp.org/

There are lots of tutorials and stuff in there as well as the download link.

I've been trying to figure out how to get my finances in order next year to get a built block and aps single turbo for my Z around the end of next year. I don't think I'll be able to do it but I'm gonna try.

Awsome. I just found out that my Studs are bent and that im going to have to get them replaced. Is it really that tough? Easy enough for myself, a 17 year old to do it? Im sick of seeing this sitting. Also got my name changed boys ; )

yeah nice name! lol, but it's not the easiest thing to do; replace studs that is, but it's possible you can do it. if you want, when we have the meeting, i can do it for ya(hell, i do them all day, everyday at work). but, it wouldn't be the smartest idea to drive to columbia with them like that, so nevermind

what studs are you talking about? On the engine, or on your suspension?

btw I did finally pick up the black 94 Pathfinder on friday. I'll have some pics soon, or I'll at least post pics of my old one that looked just like it.

so anybody up for a meet/drive/camping trip like I talked about earlier?

gr8bryt wrote:James, go ahead and pioneer that VQ swap for us. SCC recently did a write up on that swap into the s14 chassis. I'm sure you could resolve the intake manifold issue and make it all work and still connect a turbo for a mean swap
huh? I think you were reading redemption1978's post. And he was talking about turboing his Z. I have no desire to try a swap like that on my own. It took me so freakin long just to get an SR swap done on my schedule.

Alright here are the pics. The studs came right off the 93 without a problem. Took the tire off, brake caliper, rotors, the took the hammer to tap out the studs. Took a bit longer putting them on though

OOPS, my bad James...I believe you're right on that one.I probably should have cleared things up before I opened my mouth being that you did JUST have your sr swapped.

Well everyone, things are coming together pretty well for the ol 240. I'm running a little rich right now, but I believe it's due to a faulty coolant temperature sensor. I was draining the cooling system last night while @ school and it seems as though the thermostat never opened up or something. I did a NICOsearch and the symptoms that I'm having w/ my car seem to line up w/ the part in question. I'm also missing the air temp. sensor because the previous owner installed a short-ram intake and probably took the sensor off. Pat I haven't forgotten about you, I'm just trying to compile a list of things that I'll need. So far I'm looking at the following:

Hatch shocksHatch release cableoem air intake (hopefully w/ aforementioned sensor), and maybe a couple of other things by the end of the week

It's just in need of a BATH first of all. Not too much at all wrong with my car, mostly just some body work that needs to be attended to--it's been in 2 separate accidents, but no frame damage. Also needs a paint job; I'll be posting some pics soon as I wash it even I don't wax it.

I would go with the one that gives you independent height adjustment and suspension travel adjustment. I'm pretty sure Apex-i fit that description but idk about the megan's. IF Megan gives you both features, then I would go with the new Megans for $876. Just my $.02
