I am looking for a original navigation system for my 2004 SE maxima anybody no where I might be able to get one other than the dealer I want to keep the original look to the inside of the car if at all possible or a after market navi system that will fit thanx

ebay or an auto recycler?

From what I can tell, it is simply not "plug and play". Not sure what additional parts you will need.

i would suggest you get avic 1. Trying to get a OEM navi on your car is just asking for alot of trouble. You should go aftermarket IMO

There is alot more to the installation than just plug and play, it would be easier to get an aftermarket one. It can be done, but you have to run the sensors throughout the car and such, lot if work for a stock navi that doesn't do much while your driving.. not worth the trouble. Plus you have to replace the windshield. I've heard of dealers trying to charge $7000 to install stock navi!!I have the N2, it's great and the new D3 ($999) is coming out soon as well.http://www.gizmodo.com/gadgets...5.php

Thanx everybody for the great feedback, i checked out the new D3 looks like thats the one for me just have to find a reputable installer once it comes on the market
