Welcome to NICO. There are a couple of companies that offer a product that is installed behind the center switch )(NAV, air/con, etc) The harness is connected in between your current harness connections and they fit exactly. Infiniti has a safety feature that prevents many uses of NAV, setting, etc when the car is moving, is not in "P", or does not have park brake set. This gizmo by passes the safety feature so that all functions of the system are usable whist driving.
Here is one of the sites who offer this bypass:

There are videos on YouTube that walk you through installation:

I have not done this, but I have dismantled my dash, removed and replaced most pieces and parts when I re-covered my dash and this looks much much harder than it actually is. Just remove a little trim, unplug the center switch, connect the harness, and Bob's yer uncle.

NOTE: This video is based on a newer model with a slightly different dash. The 06 & 07 models are easier to take apart, but you must first pop off the small trim piece that lays above the start button to remove the main center switch.

I installed mine in the cupholder and it's sight unseen when the cupholder is closed.

I keep hearing about "how this topic has been discussed in detail" , and yet there is NO answer given. I found one place where instructions are given, but the links to the posted images are no longer valid.

Telling me to go purchase a 400 dollar wiring harness (that still requires a vast degree of knowledge to install) , is completely irrelevant to providing a bypass. Thats like me asking how to change a car tire , and getting told to guy buy a new car that just comes with 4 tires already installed.
Does anyone know how to ACTUALLY do this ? IE: snip some wires and stick a toggle switch somewhere like a normal person ?

Actually, on most N/I models, there's a "speed sensor" input on the AV Unit that you can just snip. Consult the "connector values" in the SM for the AV Unit. Note that Nissan will not be responsible if you crash while watching Dukes of Hazzard. ;)

Can anyone help guide me on how I can do a video bypass while driving on my 2008 Infiniti M45?

Currently the car does not allow video while driving and the only way it will play video is with the e brake on.

I have the nav hack done in my car, but unfortunately one of the wires broke off a couple years ago at some point. If I ever get around to fixing the wires Ill try and take a couple pictures of what it looks like complete so that people can have images again to see which wires are cut.

Perhaps you could discern the wire by studying the schematic available in my signature on this site via the factory service manual? Not sure if it's labeled there as needed but perhaps it can be figured out...
