haha.. heylo everybody!.. i've posted here a few times.. and got mucho help when needed.. so just wanted to thank ya'll~~ and horray for online forums!!.. :)

anyways.. i'ma 17yr old senior from jersey... and wanted to know what more i could do to my 92- 240... without.. uhmm.. spending a crap load of money cause that is something i definitely do not have!.. haha.. besides. the money i did have.. was thrown away because i had to get new rotors/calipers/pads for my rear brakes.. uGH... and other maintenence crap like some problem with my transmission not going into 4th.. and blowing some fuse and so my head lights didn't coincide with my dash lights.. and just.. haha.. BLAHNESS!.. roAR.. but once i got everything fixed.. and spent hours painting the interior myself with a friend.. and installing my audio.. this is what i have so far~~..

audio wise -> hu: sony cdx-m730speakers: Polk II series--amp: JL 250/1sub: 10w6

hid/xenon (imitation? i dunno.. buutt.. haha.. looks nice though at night.. =] and they haven't blown out like some other friends i know.. that blew out like.. after a month..) clear front signals.. dtm exhaust~ haha.. spray painted interior silver... and spray painted my rims/wipers white.. (lol... its amazing what a little sweat and spray paint can do to a car.. ) <~ call me ghetto but i think i saved a good deal of money. .haha..annndd.. i have an aem short ram coming in.. this weekend..

uhmm.. i guess i'm just looking for little ways to tweak my car.. cause i'm just starting to learn about all this stuff.. strut bars (y/n)?.. haha.. BIG GT WING (so i can look really gay -- adds 5hp - so i hear~!) i dunno--- some day.. i plan to get a s14 and do all the s15 conv. stuff.. haha.. but who knows if that day will every come.. =(

as of now.. uhm... i guess i'll have to live with 95% stock?.. haha.. and like... 20added horsepower from my wonderful decals.. haha... xP maybe i'll post some pics for you guys to see once i get the film developed.. =]

ohh.. but i think a bigger question is.. -- is rebuilding the engine worth the money?.. (currently 177k miles) i don't think it is?.. especially since i don't have the money to rebuild anyway.. haha.. andd..... is an auto- manual swap worth is~~.. any comments?.. thanks!

you know a sr20 swap would take care of the high mileage engine and the auto transmission;) but since your like me and dont really have any money i dont know what to tell you.....i dont really know how much a auto-manual swap would be but a rebuilt engine might be worth it.....well good luck with what ever you end up doin:)

It totally sucks, but saving up is the best way to do it. Plus when you're cruisin around town and some guy/girl that thinks your slow wants to race and you kick the shizat out of them after they beat you the last time you raced, well, lets just say it's almost as good as sex. Not that I'm condoneing street racing or anything.......

im with ninja... save every penny you get and then blow it all on anything you can afford all at once! takes a while, but it works out better this way.

you can find auto to manual swaps for about 350 + shipping with parts that aren't rebuilt.

I would say something about the spraypaint, but then again I have duct tape on my car... But that'll be gotten rid of after I weld the hole shut (Waiting a few days before I take it in to get painted, 'cause I'll have to spray paint that area so it dont rust). Yeah, did'nt like the antenna, and the motor broke, so I said **** it and took it all out.
