my rhd 1jz build up.. finally

hey whats going on guys. as some of you guys may know, i have been working on a "little" project for about two months now. i know you guys might be thinking 2 months is a long time, but being a full time student with a part time job i think im making out pretty good.

first off to you guys thinking this is a expensive project to do it all depends on if you do the work yourself and how you go about getting all your parts. my budgrt for this project was only 4500 and im almost complete only spending around 3800ish so far.

now for the good stuff. PIIIIIIIIIIIIIIICCCCCCCCCCCCCSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!

picked up a two toned coupe for 1600 and sold 1300 worth of parts [IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG]

pulled out the single the same day...[IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG][IMG]

picked up my motor a transmission for 600 yes 600 from a guy that back out of his swap and left his project at the shop..l0l..[IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG]

my flywheel and driveshaft i brought for 350 for both shipped[IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG]

picked up a 1j bellhousing and swaped it.[IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG]

my j30 lsd that i got for free..l0l..[IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG]

at first i was just planning on dropping a 1jz into my coupe, but thanks to my boy tegos13 i was able to buy a rhd clip for 70 dollars minus the steering rack.. this was the main reason why the project took so long. if i could have choosen all over i woulda kept it lhd but idk now. my car is sexy as hell.pics of the work... my clean as black dash that dosent match with my blue interior..l0l..[IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG]

nice build. I would've left it left hand drive so the brake booster wasn't right next to the turbo and you wouldn't have to worry about clearing the steering knuckle but to each his own.

heres what kind of person he is. he buys a set of mounts from me everything clears so i ship them. the day after i ship them he chages back the credit card. this can be one of two things. he just charged back the card or he used a stolen credit card. i called him and he tryied to play dumb with me like he wasnt the guy that bought them. funny that one of my mounts are sitting on his strut tower in the pic of the motor in the car
