that is so incredibly hot. You said you paid in cash though and worked real real hard and saved every penny. You make it seem even possible! I was just curious, if you were willing to tell me, what you do for a living?

I might need a career change from smog to something else...

I paid Motorex in cash but I got a loan to give to them.. they dopn't offer financing directly through Motorex. I got my loan from http://www.peoplefirst.com. They have been really great and probably the best loan company I've ever dealt with. I make payments every month and it hurts but it's worth it.

a little update though, I haven't been active here for a bit while trying to figure out what to do.... The car is in the shop and I am in discussions with Motorex that will likely end my ownership of the car. I am not happy right now and will keep you all updated with what's going on.

I'm sorry to hear that gsxtasee. Deffinetly keep us posted on what's going on. I hope everything works out for you. If not, stop on by the g35 section and we'll be glad to try and persuade into buying a G coupe.

well, the good news is, MotoWrex did their 'Splainin and I'm back to being a happy customer. the car will be fully legal in the near future.. (I hope) and should have the HID's reinstalled along with the R34 seats and the new wheels and intercooler steup it was supposed to have initially. I might even get the suction kit I paid for!!!! WOWEEE.

Glad to hear that they are taking care of things for you. What all was wrong with the car? I must have missed the explanation somewhere along the way.

I didn't go into what was wrong. Motorex is rebuilding it and completeing the legalization process ASAP and then I am unsure what I'll do after that.. thinking of selling or a few other options.

no, it was completely in Japan when they sold it to me. I paid up front. when it got here (roughly 300% behind schedule) I was so furious I *borrowed* it for a little while. now they're finishing up the legalization
