No, that WAS a brand new one... I suppose it could have been sitting on a humid shelf in japan near the sea for a few years, but still.
You can't rebuild them, they don't flow well enough (just a modified stock), and just too expensive for what you get. Not my cup of tea.

Like I said, I can get better for less than half the price.

Just IMO.

You think I still have to change to a different fpr? I'm running the sr stock unit with the safc I can pull fuel from idle and lean it out a bit to keep it from stalling.

safc and n60 maf are on and now my issue is I randomly go rich while cruising. The ecu is not reading that I'm removing fuel only at idle it reads it everywhere else. Any ideas?

How rich is it at idle and cruise? And how close is the AFM to the turbo? If it's too close, you're going to have all sorts of weird issues.

At idle it's at 11 sometimes 10 cruising is 14 -15 then drops to 10 randomly then clears up then repeats maf is roughly 4 to 5 inches from the turbo because I don't have much room over not enough for 10 inches anyway...

Your air flow meter is just too close to the turbo, brother.

On my SR, when I still used a MAFS, I had it like 2-3 inches from the turbo and never had issues like that... Is the N60 MAFS more sensitive to turbulence?

Iono but everyone has told me that they need to be at least 10 inches away even when I was playing with the single cam

Yea, it sounds too close. Also, you have to have an air filter on there too if you don't have one.

well I talked to Dee and we came to the conclusion that the 02 sensor is prolly bad. Also Float I do have an air filter on there I prolly need a new one of those as well as the one I have is super old and dirty. going to replace the 02 sensor tomorrow after I replace the fpr again.

I'm pretty sure 2in7out is right for an N62. Are you 100% sure it's an N62 and not an N60? They look identical externally.

Yes I have both. And im wondering if its the CTS and TPS and possibly injectors. While cold the motor reacts to adjusting the safc if I add fuel the idle.goes up if I take out fuel the idle.drops back down but once warm it doesnt react at all it stays at 11 on the wideband. The reason I think the tps is one of the problem is because at certain positions the car starts to sputter and when revving to.keep it from dying there is a delay between the pedal going down and the motor revving up. Also I.still cant explain the random richness while cruising.

So I replaced the cts today and that seemed to help a little but the problem still exists

I just started my car and have nistune and I will say, it's going to be terrific for diagnosing. The amount of information I can see just at idle is awesome.

On that note, if/when you get nistune, do you plan to keep the new maf on or do you have a stock CA one you can throw on there just to make sure you have a good platform to work off of?

Nistune installed and tuned 5psi stock fuel and she pulls pretty good! Powerband is linear not spikey like most boosted cars but I attribute that to the cams it has a nice bottom end along with a great top end.

In other news I had a civic try me on the freeway after I got tuned you can guess what the outcome was lol...
