ok i got a O2 elbow (turbo extention) from a buddy of mine who got it from SSautochrome....that was my first problem___________________________________________and as you can see it points right into the unibody rail and body. So i went and spent the extra money and bought a ___________________________________________trust/greddy divided sr20det turbo O2 elbow to run on my sr20 AR/.80 on my stock CA manifold with a xs power (ssautochrome) downpipe and now i have this problem_____________________________________________ is this all ssautochromes flaws? can someone tell me whats going on? why wont the flange on the elbow and downpipe match? should i just keep the xs power DP and cut the flange, reweld it? (wouldnt be a problem to tig weld it)

imput please

Lemmie guess, that is a CA specific dp? Well, looks like you forgot that the SR and CA have different O2 housings. The rule is: Use a CA dp with a CA O2 housing, and a SR dp with a SR O2 housing. I am running a ProjectSilvia O2 housing and downpipe for an SR, and it works fine.

So you to either:1) Cut, reweld2) Buy a SR downpipe3) Get a non ghetto CA O2 housing (not likely)

Cut and re-weld. Cheapest route and it's not that big of a deal to do it.

Yes, cut and reweld. And remember: don't buy crap and you won't have these problems My O2 housing and dp combo ran well over $300, but they fit perfect the first time IF nothings else, it may be that the SSAC stuff is designed to be run only with SSAC stuff. That would be really crappy of them to do

to be honest when I bought my megan racing stuff it was because SS was selling that divorced o2 housing thing and it looked like it might have clearance problems.
