The S14 Zenki and S14 Kouki "SE" badges are different...that's why.

That's a clean car man. Congrats on your purchase. I was eyeing that car also. Don't let the SE thing get to you. I am pretty sure there is a thread on here somewhere about people with base model 240sx's with SE on their title. Hell, my gold zenki had SE on the title but it wasn't. Some dealerships don't know the difference. They just go by what the vin# says.

those wheels came on the G20T (2000+ IIRC), the 180sx Type-x, and the S14 Kouki base model.

My 93' S13 also is registered (Title) under an SE when I bought the car but I'm pretty sure it's a base also... The only option I could think of on mine is a Moon Roof that pops up. No Badge, ever since I owned the car?

ehh, we dont know if the previous owner before the guy that sold it but that badge on or if the last owner even knew the difference. i dont really think $5500 is "marked up" for a kouki

Maybe I'm off my rocker but isn't the engine bay supposed to be the same color as the car??

mine is, but the color code on his ID plate says DN1, which is the factory cobalt green pearl.

so either it came with a black bay, or somebody paint over the green with black, then somebody painted over the black with the factory color.. prolly the former as opposed to the latter.

Nice buy man, clean as tits.

I bought a 1997 240sx thinking it was "LE", turned out it was a base model, I have the same stock meshies as you (4lug), but mine does not have an emblem on the trunk (do LE's have emblems??) On my title it says "LE" however I'm guessing its not.

Btw I have a factory alarm, white face gauges, and stock wing.

yea i was one of those suckers that got suckered for a SE model base. i pretty much bought my 240 blindly w/o much knowledge and i think the seller wasn't so sure himself and when i asked him if itwas SE he was like yes, and i assumed it was cause it had power windows/mirrors and i thought base came w/ scrolling windows (dumb me)

i kinda regret not getting a SE b/c i dind't wanna mod my car too much appearance wise and i love the SE package look w/ the fogs SE wheels spoiler, white gauges etc. but at least i have abs/vlsd and i rather have that then a SE package w/o it i guess.
