Man that sucks! Sounds a bit like my like my complex managers in the fact that if they catch you working ona car, they'll evict you (yeah let them try).NeedCAforS13 wrote:Damn retarded neighbors must have called code enforcement on me for my non running s12... woke up this morning with a bright orange paper GLUED to the windshield saying I have 10 days to move it before they impound and destroy it... what a bunch of f*** oh well, just gotta hide it in the garage for a bit, which means its time to clean up the garage! Looks like it might take a bit longer for your hotpipe Rico, gotta get this crap figured out first...
Just felt like venting because my neighbors are a$$. You can't even tell its not running except the fact that it has expired plates on it

You mean if its in the garage (with no windows)? Like if I was to leave the the garage door open one day and they saw the car inside I can still get fined? That would suck if its true!Turbogixxer wrote:If they find the car still there, they can fine you also (ranges from county to county).
You can not have a non-registered car seating in your yard for more than one week. They will record the date they first see it then come back and report it (sticker like you got or court case). The law states you can not have a non-registered car in or on your yard, but what they can not see, they can on write you up for. Zone enforcement makes visits in the morning. I put my car in my garage over a year ago and had no problems.NeedCAforS13 wrote:You mean if its in the garage (with no windows)? Thats what I figured... and I got rid of the parts car awhile ago, so the only cars in my driveway (other than the s12) are all registered and legal. Its odd though, the s12 has been in the driveway since October and no one has given me grief over it until now. It faces backwards with the bumper right up against the garage, so unless you look real hard you can't see that the license plate is out of date, which leads me to belive someone called it in... just driving down the road, code enforcement officials wouldn't be able to tell its not running/registered.Turbogixxer wrote:what they can not see, they can on write you up for
wow seriously? damn florida!c-rad wrote:Yup, Florida is retarded. It is ILLEGAL to have a non-running/non-registered car in your yard.
ahaha i like that idea... although i think doing that might set the whole yard on fire so i don't think they'll be able to see it =XsilkroadS13 wrote:buy a bottle of round up and write on their lawn, something like:
