yup its true. i went into mcdonalds in bethesda and came out 30mins later and found my beautiful s13's front end totally smashed in and the hood bent up. Im so totally depressed. ill have to wait till insurance come through to see if they total it, but i might be able to sell the rest and put some into my 94 turbo project. I really just want to keep the n/a cause i loved my torque...

You didnt say how it happened. Did someone do a hit and run? I would be MEGA PISSED OFF if someone did that to me! As far as your insurance company goes, make sure you show them all your receipts for stuff youve done to your car. Esp if you rebuilt the engine with the 9.1:1 pistons, because that would theoritically set your odometer back to 0. Good luck and fight the insurance company for every dime!

ahhh man thats sucks, i could only imagine walking out and seeing my baby all smashed up. I dont know if you mentioned this, but was it a hit and run?? Cause i know how they feel, but my damage only needed a new fender.

If you don't have receipts for the parts and installation, go to your mechanic and have him make some up! If they total the car, you might get totally ****ed on the value because they won't include part value without receipts. However, if you do have receipts... you should be in the clear. When my old Datsun got totalled, I got $4500 back because of all the aftermarket parts on there. Without those receipts, they would have given me ~$750.
