It depends on who you are talkin' to. if your asking about mine, it's a GLE but if your asking about sachmo12345's he claims it's an SE but from the leather interior, Bose system, and sunroof I think it's a GLE also. But thanks for the compliment if it's for me.

His is definately an SE; check the body-colored door handlesand black (not chrome) window trim. He also has a spoiler, which was standard on the SE and optional on the GLE.

BOSE, Leather, and sunroof were options on the SE, as were fogs and a few other goodies.

Oh, I didn't know that. I thought you could only get leather and BOSE in a GLE.

I have leather in my SE. I was just puzzled by the bose. I thought Bose came in GLEs too. Yes it is an SE with the door handles, I didn't even notice them. Nick

No, both were options. I have even seen GXEs that had plastic hubcaps but had Bose, a spoiler, and a sunroof- all from the factory.

See above. Many SE models had Bose. I wish that mine (my I30, that is) did NOT have Bose...

It is a disese, noticing stuff like that. Even my wife has finally learned the distinguishing marks, including the rim differences in 95-96 v. 97-99 maximas, AND the lettering/grille differences.

She learned fast.

My wife loves cars. After driving my I30, she wants to trade me (for the day) all of the time, or she wants me to trade in her 2K3 Celica (auto) for an IS300 w/ a 5MT or the sportshift.

She has also been harassing me about getting her larger rims for the Celi, but I would rather trade it in...I would have done it, but rent in our new townhouse is $200-300 more a month than our old place.

My fiance likes the Maxi a lot. She is afraid to drive it tho after she curbed a rim less than 1 week after I had put them on.

I usually go to find my keys and they are gone along with my mom. She makes the excuse that she had to move my car to get hers out, so she thought she would take my maxima. I park on the otherside of the driveway, she just hates to drive her minivan when she could be driving my car. Nick
