from what I understand the Emanage effectively replaces the stock ECU when you get all the optional harnesses. this was what I was told from someone running one.

For an effective KAT setup would you need all the harnesses?

well, first off you are going to need the ignition harness, because you will want to retard under boost. You will need the boost pressure harness to allow it to retard under boost. You will need the injector harness cause you aren't gonna want to run stock injectors, and you will want the support tool to use all that.

E-manage is still a piggy back and does not even come close to replacing your ecu. You do not need the pressure sensor, this is used in setups where you over run your maf and then uses the pressure map to adjust fuel. I am going to just use a Z32 maf when that happens as the emanage can adjust for that. I have been using the airflow to advance my ignition timing as I am NA right now and plan on retarding timing when I go FI this way. I bought my emanage, injector and ignition harness then my support tool and cable for a total of 360. I bought my support tool and cable from someone in malaysia that is on the emanage yahoo groups and then the emanage and harness's I bought off ebay for 320 so yes a whole system can be bought for less than 400. You just have to bargain with people.

erm, someone that has it on a turbo KA told me that you have to have the pressure sensor harness to be able to matrix your timing retard map off of boost. this doesn't mean you can't adjust timing, just means you can't matrix it off boost.again, this is what I was told by someone running E manage on a turbocharged KA24de.

Power Gararge on ebay has SSQV for like $175, and do yourself a favor and buy an ACT clutch, I hear way to many weird stories about Centerforce. Oh and exhuast should be alot cheaper than that if you just have it done locally at a shop. i think i did full 3" and a magnaflow for like $300. anyway hope that helps
