destroy that, and make a new one out of sheet metal.

same counter as your bumper, just bulges out by one inch.

Would be a good template, but I wouldnt install that on the car, it probably weighs as much as the bumper and a difuser is supposed to be the opposite of heavy.

Didn't the owner of the pike's peak s14 posted on this site use a front splitter made of plywood on his car? I thought he did, but I may be wrong... but either way, that looks pretty bad and won't last long at all.

You're not putting this on your car right? Tell me I'm in some type of alternate universe time warp thingy like Bizarro world....Honestly man thats terrible looking what ever happened to buying a REAL lip and putting that on? Do you have any other type of aero to pull that off? stock ride height etc etc????? Jeez this is getting bad which is why people view 240's and the owners of them the way they do jeez

I plan on putting brackets on the front for extra support, but like I said early, if it breaks, it's not that big a deal. I'll post more pics once it is painted and on the car.

My problem with it is the weight of it. It has to weigh close to what the bumper itself weighs. Therefore, it will actually hurt the aerodynamics, rather than help... But, I guess plywood bodykits and difusers are the new rice... So enjoy your .

Good reference, sorry I am a superman fan.

I would use that as a template and make one out of carbonfiber or fiberglass, maybe not so agressive either.

hey u ever thought about making like a diffuser for the front bumper? u can make it go under the engine and cut a hole for oil pan. then let it stick out at the front just a little and add those support links from the bumper and to the front of the diffuser. imo it would look great if u know what u are doing. please just dont use that plank as a lip or a diffuser.

Just wanted to point out that Project Car's Sentra had a splitter made out of plexi glass, not wood ...still want to see if this thing works out or not

Actually, in issue #10, jeffery went off-road with the sentra and f***ed up the splitter. Then in issue #11, Yamz made a new one out of 3/8' PLYWOOD

Ahh thats why....I've looked everywhere for issue 11. Even went to Borders yesterday and no one has it...didn't see the new issue either . Knowing they made a splitter out of wood just makes me want it more!

At least I have issue 1, which I plan to sell for a million dollars in the future

sorry dude, it still looks pretty bad and the functionality still fails.

take a sheet of aluminum or metal and cut out the same pattern and bend it up a bit. it will look sooooo much cooler and functional, i promise.

I guess my post was to harsh for you and was deleted. Still.. this is stupid, stick to hondas. Sell the 240 to someone that can afford atleast E-gay parts. I finally know why I cant find one anymore.

I wanted start off by saying that yes as stated before, the Pikes Peak S14 used a wood splitter. I dont really care that you made it out of wood. But I must say that it is very ugly. A simple 1 - 2 inch border outline of the bumper would have looked great and probably been easier to make. Just my opinion.
