There were several considerations in making the decision, none of which actually *require* an explanation, but for the sake of discussion, I will do so.
Cost was #1. A secondary consideration was that for every "cluttering" transaction or discussion we have here, an equivalent number elicit some genuinely helpful information. Finally, the issue JeZter references was considered, as email remains a sensible alternative for off-board discussions (as does non-NICO private messaging).
There's a sock drawer in Austin that could use some cataloging.
