got some goodies in the mail friday.full gasket kit, bearings, oil catch can, ebay strut bar.also got a supar angle kit..mad angle!saw a 240 and talked to the guy about the kcda drift events..he seemed interested.starting the pull. Seth (clain) came over to help. also let me drive the sr20- soo nice i wish i had one.oh well, KA will do it for now.almost outi love this picwoo! no more blown headgasket single camgot alot to cleanebay strut bar fitment is pretty good, lightweight and looks good too

and now for the crown jewel...

this engine is soooo clean.~less than 60,000miles on her. i got a deal you wont find for a long time.cant wait to get it in.still need to remove emissions on the dual cam and clean the bay and engine out alot.

long needed update! oh and btw talked to previous owner of car and its more like 30,000 miles on the engine...hell yeah!

8/1/09 here's something to remind everyone where i've come from. not too much change but ahelluvalot more than what it used to be. oh and dont mind the horrible cropping and placement...

8/3/09 worked on coco today. mounted the s14 power steering resevoir, installed stainless powersteering high pressure line, and powersteering cooler.(cooler is not in final location, still need to make a bracket for it)also replaced front struts as they were worn and the bushings? were cracked.if any of you have seen my car then you'd remember how the FR wheel had alot of camber..well it may be because of this stud mount being bent. its supposed to be inline with the red line.

9/4/09 soooo...back in the beginning of august i ordered coilovers and just got them this week. i've got to say i like em...so much difference from stock and i just love everything about them. yes. powered by max. 09 design with the black damper that (supposedly) goes lower. the finish on these coils are cool, ha and the packaging was great also.got the tie rod spacers in too.rearsfrontshere is the ride height...fronts were left alone and the rears were slightly increased in height with a difference of 1 1/2 inch from front to rear. Suspension geometry is almost perfect in front (thats why i didnt adjust them yet) and in the rear...well...haha they're pointing to the sky pretty much.still need to get used to drifting with them..need to get used to going faster and just need more practice basically. also need way better offset wheels!also in the pics you can see that all the old black and grey spray paint the previous owner had on the car is gone (thanks to wet sanding) and i've removed the antennae and installed a spin turn drift knob thingy..(dont get why they call it "spin" tho...) but yeah..small update for those who didnt already know.

oh and also can a mod change the thread title to ''my red-ish coupe... umm... restoration'' and change my username to Juicewould greatly appreciate it, thanks

9/9/09 installedpoor offset wheels changed out for poor offset wheels 9/10/09->10/20/09 newest addition to coco's colors...

installed tuckin' it good!going back in...installing new, rust free, thicker radiatormaybe...a spoiler???... hmmmvalve cover (done by steven) is actually powdercoated red. full vtec and 5 speed swap.done.

10/28/09 this is the only other pic i have of itno wire tuck however. pic is before we had it all back together. but drove it about an hour ago and its wayyy better than before. its awesome that i've done about 75% of this swap myself, but just about a year ago i wouldnt have known what the hell i was getting myself into. and for that, i love you nico! taught myself so much more about cars (rwd as well as fwd) and with help from gguys on locol forums like KCDA ive done alot. difference with car is like night and day...however havent hit vtec yet..lol. damn break in clutch periods... but yeah...car actually gggoooesss now..idk if its f22 or what...honda still confuses me sometimes, haha (got nothin agaisnt em tho) but anyways he tells me his plan is to build a small budget turbo kit- low boost and get type r aero or whatnot.cool stuff...i guess. someone buy me 5lug! and work wheels! and silvia face!!! and paint! i wanna update my car...photo shoot?kinda...got her into the garage! woo!ka....t?driving around after failing at drifting with bad pads (they were sticking, pads had almost no brake material left) i wanted to street so bad, and then couldnt....oh wellstill not low enoughthis pic is kinda cool, has sort of an aura around carsorry for s***ty phone pics

i have both sets, the white and the gold. just took the white 17's in the back off because driving on the highway when its raining when you have bald camber worn tires is not fun. so i threw the 15 meshies on cuz they were 50%. i want to get work cr-kai's or the new 11r's (i think thats what theyre called) (but need to go 5 lug first)i'm gonna get the white set back on, and drop the front some more as well as the rear. need good offsets

step 1: lip sanded and primered ready for paint. front and rear bumpers next... possibly my surface rusting fender.

thanks.. i put what money i can into the car. being in high school and working part time keeps me from getting the progress i really want. really im not so much of looks but my engine has around 30K original miles, coils, suspension arms, basically just stuff to help my set up as i try to improve my drifting skills while keeping it as a daily

lol i should get some white work 11r's.

and really the only visual problems are the front and rear bumpers. cause of paint. but the body is straight and only has a couple bad rust spots.

yeah. im stuck on color options.....either like bright aspen white, tommy roberts gold, or a silver color.

and pignose has its ups and downs. cutting out the ''nostrils'' lets you get more airflow to my rad/powerstreerin cooler
