Yeah, and maybe comparedto what was put in I I got it for cheapish from you. But what you didnt realize is that the alternator was s***, the water pump was leaky, you had a dead fuel injector, and the fuel filter was clogged. I spent the last 6 months fixing s***. There were two different kinds of headlights, and half a roll of electric tape on the shifter so the knob would fit. Currently, I'm a broke a** high school kid with no upgrades of my own because I spent all my money and more getting the MAINTENANCE done. /rant.

Internet fight!!! Here comes the girly e-slaping! :sissies:
Clean hatch op. 3k is overpriced let alone 4 but prices are usually region specific. The maintenance you have had to do so far is really basic and common place s***. I hope you are doing this work yourself and if not keep your civic hybrid, 240s are money pits and even worse if you are paying a mechanic to screw you without reach around.

Im happy you are de-ricing it and for the previous owner age isnt an excuse for rice bro. :bs:

Dont stress your rims ATM, not important. Good to see you got that spoiler off and filled the holes. I use jbweld for all kinds of stuff.

Good luck! :bigthumb:

Thanks man! i bought the car on clear conditions with my mom that i would be doing the work, but she kinds freaked out and wouldnt allow most of it. I've now sworn not to go back haha. I'm not gonna say any more in an internet fight, doesnt belong in my thread ha. the J.B Weld seems like really good stuff, it actually sanded down great and still feels strong.

Edit: I just read to see if i posted it and i dont think i did, but Damon my mom drives a Honda civic hybrid lol :rotfl

Alright next question. The other day i thought i heard some water in the back. Just went out and checked and there was at least half an inch beneath the spare tire. I immediately dried it up, then tried spraying the hatch, sunroof, rear nozzle for the wiper, etc down to see if i could find a leak. No water came in at all. What i realized is that the water was in there after driving the car in the rain/on wet roads for the first time. Could water have leaked up from underneath the car somehow?

Maybe the rubber grommet things are missing from under your spare tire and water splashed up through them?

hah, well kind of an update. I bought and installed a new short shifter and shift knob last week.
New shifter on left, old one on right.

Those front two bolts SUCK to try and get out!!!!

The bushing from the old shifter got stuck in the transmission:

Dont have a picture of the new knob on but this is the one i bought

Re-sealed my taillights today, so hopefully they won't leak anymore. Filled all the spoiler holes, so the next warm day i'll finish sanding the paint off and paint the hatch.
