He's already sold the turbo, body kit to me, but still has the gtspec underbrace which I believe is pending to someone. Still though, as long as he doesn't have too many parts you should eb alright. I race my Fit friend all the time.At first I used to ALWAYSSSSSSS win, but lately it's been him cus I told him how to launch and my tires don't have much grip anymore, regardless, you should still be able to beat him if you've both got stick.I'm sure.Zadkiel wrote:Get in touch with the guy at Fox Marketing. http://www.foxmarketing.net. Brian Fox is his name. He built a turbo Versa hatch and he's selling the parts for it. Guy lives in York, PA though.

I assume that when you say race you mean drag-strip style, is that right?manvan wrote:i guess itll be a waiting game then, cuz id rather spend the money then loose to him, and yeah we both got manual trans, so it should be fair
its not that its about a fast car, its about to econo cars that are major competitors racing, in the same class, so dont hateand yeah itll be heads up,drag styleand ill try to get a video when it happens.Mr. LS wrote:haha, shoulda bought a different car! That pretty much sucks for you.
Do us a favor and make sure to get you losing on video
No need to hate bro, I'm good with my LS kicked back rolling in luxury. Thought about a Versa but the performance, as you said, just isn't there, I don't want a Honda, so I've decided on a Suzuki SX4 as my econo tuned car. Can't go wrong with a car that has aftermarket support and cams and a turbo in the testing stages of already being produced.manvan wrote: its not that its about a fast car, its about to econo cars that are major competitors racing, in the same class, so dont hateand yeah itll be heads up,drag styleand ill try to get a video when it happens.
The same company that's making the intake manifold is talking about a turbo. I think he said he started testing it. But yeah the company that is making the catback and headers are supposed to come out in may and the company that is making the intake manifold is supposed to be about 4 weeks from what I last heard.Great White Versa wrote:

So far there are really only two things that you can do. a CAI and a custom, cat-back exhaust. Soon there should be intake (and exhaust possibly) headers and most likely a cat-back exhaust kit.
Is there anything else that i've missed?
Well since he drives a Fit he'd probably be good with a Happy Meal at Mickey D's. That'd set ya back what, $2.59. Let him get his rocks off squeezing Ronald's nosemanvan wrote:so i have a buddy who has a fit and is also a tunner, so we get to talking and before i know it i get my self into a duel with him, heads up race, looser has to buy the winner a meal at the fast food place of there liking.
But who wants to lose a race against a Fit?bradkenyon wrote:don't make any mods, lose race, spend 5 dollars on fast food.
or spend 600 on mods, lose race, spend 5 dollars on fast food.
I totally agree on that onechkchkchk wrote:

Nope. Thought the same thing but declined to comment. Was hoping that the intention was to race off road. So, was giving the benefit of the doubt. However, if the intention IS to race on a public road, then I would submit that they are unfit to drive a car.Ever Victorious wrote:Am I the only person on this board who's the slightest bit upset at your plan to...
