well ordered the Apexi NOIR exhaust looks to be exactly what i am looking for...

kind of landed on a minor/major setback... found wrist pin c-clips in my oil pan so i gotta tear the motor down quick and check out the cylinder walls and maybe have to get it bored out and a new set of pistons which would suck a** but i should have the rest of it tore down by tonight

just a guess but did you not install the wrist pin clips...you'll only ever forget that once

Never mind i just read that you found one in your oil pan, that sucks man. To see an entire motor get jacked up from something so small is a shame. Were they the wrong ones or were they just not fully set.

the rest of that build is awesome, stuff looks real good.

Yes they are. The heads are different, but as far as I know the blocks are the same.

They are the same. I dont have a s13 and s14 block laying next to each other to look but, i've never heard/read anything to suggest they are different.

wow looks cool to me. what power are you going for? are you running larger fuel lines also? seems if you have the need for two fuel pumps then you would need like -6 or -8 AN lines also?? i could be totally wrong but just seems that way to me.

i'm shootin for the 600HP mark... at this time i don't have larger fuel lines installed but they are in the plans haha i will run all knew hard lines either this summer sometime or wait until winter... also i'm going to make a billet aluminum cap for the fuel tank so that i can use all AN lines and fittings

Looks really great, especially the gauge and battery relocate install, plus the block. Did you figure out what was the problem with the cylinder wall scoring on the first build? Incorrect wrist pin clip install? What did the block work (cleaning boring decking etc) cost you if you don't mind?

Lastly I think motoman has a good point about the size of the lines coming from your two fuel pumps. You Y them into 1 line, what is the size of this final line? You could be seeing higher pressure here that your pumps have to fight against. Sure it'll be better than 1 pump but this setup may not be at 100% of what it's capable of depending on these lines.

he guys sorry!!! i didn't get any e-mails from your guys replies for some reason! there has been lots of progress in the past weeks

the block work cost me right around 400, and yes it was the incorrect wrist pins

it is still the stock hard line, i plan on re-doing all the lines and running -8 this winter and thats the reason i didn't modify the trunk lines.

yep stainless tig... and did the pie cuts because it was kind of a wierd angle coming off of the full race downpipe and also to get a mandrel bend 3" stainless chunk it was another 70 bucks! plusit was kind of fun and a good learning experience... turned out pretty good for the first time i think
