oh i already figured out how to do it. its really simple. you take a pipe the same diameter and use about 1/2 inch out of it. and then cut the top off of your stock one as high up on it as you can. then you weld that 1/2 inch long piece of pipe to extend the housing on yours. then take the top piece of yours to use as a washer on the spring (must fit inside the pipe freely) then weld a washer and nut on top of the 1/2 inch pipe. thread another bolt and nut on it and your golden. make sense?

all your really doing is using the bolt to press down on the spring harder, making it stiffer to open. i have already taken apart a stock one and make sure it will work. i also have an aftermarket (ebay) adjustable one and it is just the same theory. also that same mod would work for a internal or external wastegates to up the boost.

Yeah, I read some other write-ups today. I may do something like this if my hacked maf needs adjusting to the entire map.

The Stanza could be boosted easily. Depending on your power goals you could totally change the personality of your Stanza. The cool part of that project is that you don't see them everywhere like 240's. Boosted 240's are like Mustangs and Camaro's these days. I can't swing a dead cat without bumping into a turbo 240.

With that said, make a new thread and ask any questions you want and we'll help fill in the blanks. Don't hijack my thread :squint:

Just F'n with ya :chuckle:

You completely misunderstood the point of this post. :slap: He said he misses his KA-T and I said why would he miss that when SR is so much more fun, implying that he could, instead, look forward to having an SR. ;) The KA = Poop, well, it speaks for itself. :)

I answered your question in the other thread. I came in here to leave a present for Brian, and you're ruining it. And you can argue your KA all day, but deep down inside you, you know you're going to lose, so stop while I'm being nice.

To weak to even comment on...sad really. Perhaps you should change your avatar to a cute gerbil or something...it would be more fitting.

I hate to admit it, but I do find the KA build threads more amusing for the most part. With SRs, pretty much everything has been done.

Don't worry, ur gonna like my KA-t build thread. It won't get started for a couple months but she's gonna be a beasty street car. BTW, what is your best dyno or trap speed with the T2-3071?? Always wondered if I should have tried one on my SR instead of the HX35 and the 30R.

I should make 500+ wtq by 5000rpm and rev to 7800 :yesnod

WD, sorry about the tread jack. I'm jumping to the KA-T side of the fence and don't want the SR mod talking to much smack.

I had a 11sec SR for 3 years and this is what I came up with..... SR=WTFISTQ
