So what's next? Wideband and SAFC tuning? Did the Dyno shop include a AFR scale for you?

They didn't email it, but I saw it when there. 10.5:1 until 4k then below 10:1.

I already have an SAFC, so may pick up a wideband sometime soon.

Got my new EGT gauge and put it in, still doesn't read when the engine is running, so need to figure that out.

Other than that, I'll just driving occasionally, need to figure out my Vert's clutch problem next and then install some things on my G35.

Wow...that's so rich I'd actually be worried about rinsing the oil of the cylinder walls. Anything richer then 11 is working backwards. If you go to Omaha I'll bring my wide band and assist with a reliable street tune. Possibly get you addicted to some Pane at the same time :dblthumb:

Can't make it out there unfortunately, too broke. Still haven't backed off the base FP 1-2psi, I really won't drive much until I get the wideband most likely.

I'm barely able to scrounge money for the trip, but this will be my last event for the year and probably next. Kate downloads in July and next year we're moving to wherever the USAF sends us.

Hopefully we're some place that doesn't suck and we can just stay there for a change.

I finally get a raise in Oct (haven't had one in over 2 years due to economy), I'm hoping that allows me to make more big events after that. But right now living paycheck to paycheck and running up credit card debt.

I've heard basically nothing but good things about TDC, never been there myself though. Anyways good numbers for 10-11 psi!

We had a member make 350 at 10 psi some years ago, like 02 maybe. He was using S13 cams and a JWT tune. The tune might have been a reflash of the original to make the maps more efficient, but he made 350 none the less, IIRC his name was Dennis.

I'm pretty sure with little more timing, cams, and perfect AFR I could get 320 or so. Need to get all of this other stuff (Vert clutch issue and G35 parts to put on) out of the way so I can work on this more.

...And both S13s are currently paper weights holding down the concrete in the garage.

Drove the KA-t last Monday without a problem. Go crank it yesterday morning and its missing like crazy and SAFC2 doesn't come on (gets power but never turns on).

Believe that alternator is bad, need to replace it (but I'm broke) and that may have fried the SAFC (hopefully not the ECU).

Who knows when either S13 will be running again.

Yep, I'm pissed and depressed.

Have to start on my Vert this weekend to get it going and move the ka-t over to the 'work' side of the garage.

Atleast you have the G. Every time I break something I'm without a daily...big time suckage. This only lends to my procrastination since it's currently running well, I fear breaking her again.

Yeah, just stops me from putting my suspension and plenum spacer on the G until I get everything else done.

Been a while since I had done much.

Was looking for B&M shifter, but found a used ISIS for cheap, so put it in tonight. Also swapped the AutoZone filter for a K&N one a couple weeks ago.

Since I had the camera I just took a few engine bay pics since I didn't really have any after completion.

Just fine. I have an ISIS already in my Vert and had a C's ebay copy that was in the coupe. The ISIS isn't quite the same as B&M but for the price difference its worth it.

Fixed the hood today, could have done a little better on it (if I'd sanded a little before using the compound), but its better than it was. Went and picked up new screws/backing plates for the hood pins as well.

Swap rear diff cover for an extra capacity one, hopefully help to cool the 2-way.

Will look into oil filter relocation mock-up tomorrow.

Oil filter relocation complete, hope it all works out. Did notice when I first cranked it that I forgot to tighten the ports on the side of the filter mount and was leaking. No leaks after that. I do have a rattle in the head that normally went away, now it doesn't (sounds like timing chain guide, but didn't think S14 engines had them).

Removed a little more area from where the battery was. Add a metal plate for strength.

Made a shield out of an alum sheet since I have no fender liner.

Went with 5/8" power steering hose from Autozone.

Ah, guess I'll be removing that soon then. I thought they removed that top one on the '95+ engines.

Should be picking up a wideband tomorrow. See if I can get it installed this weekend or next. Then hopefully some fine tuning to get this car less rich.
