Yeah, if I had it to do all over again, I would have just stuck with the VG.... it ended up being a LOT (I mean a LOOOOOOOT) more work than I ever would have imagined (to do it correctly... I wasn't going to half-a** it).

It is 100% stock from the transmission back. The RB26 AWD bellhousing bolts right up to the Z32 transmission (swapped over the Z32 bellhousing cover onto the RB26 one, moved the pivot ball, moved the clutch slave cylinder (from a GTS-T skyline), and then use the factory transmission mount location for the Z32, factory driveshaft for the Z32, etc.

Gorgeous. Just. Gorgeous. I would love to do this, but have to wait till after college so I won't have any debt. I'll be sticking with the vg though. The amount of custom fab you did is incredible, I'm impressed for sure.

There was definitely a lot of trial and error to get it to where it is today.

Here's some updated pictures... sorry have been busy. Car is currently getting several things done (fixing more little "bugs") and a new cooling system, exhaust, etc.

VERY nice, you really have one amazing Z there sir. I'm impressed with your attention to detail with your style, and obvious ability to do what you want without regard for what at least for me is the biggest setback: $$$$$
Thanks for the update, keep 'em coming if you do more! :dblthumb:

Indeed. I will provide a bunch of pics coming up shortly. Has a lot changing to it for "version 2.0" mainly the reliability aspect as the cooling system has been a pain in my side since it was up and running. Still would have been better spent on a VG30DETT, but since I'm this far in, there's no turning back. (and my wife won't ever let me sell it anyway).

I keep saying I'll get some updated pics - but here is a video I made awhile back about the walkaround and me commentating on it.

It has changed further from this point now too.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a7YcUj0MLDg V.1.0 walkaround

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y7ewxyy5KPU V2.0 walkaround.

(It's currently in let's call Version 2.5 now)

She's sold to her new owner in North or South Carolina now. Gone to a good home.
