Well let me break it down, im new to the nissan world, i've tried searching for answers, but if i am repeating already answered questions, please kindly point me in the right direction. I just recently purchased an S13 coupe, KA24DE, she ran fine when i got her, she started acting up one day after i took her to the car wash and hasn't got any better. The symptoms are; poor idle, when i go full throttle she bogs and slowly increases in rpm's, but if i hold the throttle 1/4 way it'll sputter and run up the rpm's a little faster. I did run my ecu for codes, got a code 12 (air velocity sensor) so i changed the MAF sensor, didn't help  . I just want some help before i throw more money at someting that doesn't need replaced. I am mechanically inclined, but i haven't worked on any cars with computers :gotme , and now im remembering why, haha jk, but im trying to learn so bear with me. The reason i got this car is because my friend has one, and after i drove his i new i had to have one :chuckle: , so much fun to drive....when they're running right! So one nissan lover to another, please help me!

Take some sensor cleaner to the iat sensor. Also I would check wires and plugs.

I'm gonna run a compression test while I'm at it.

Ok, fixed one problem, apparently whoever owned it last didn't tighten the spark plugs very well hence causing some blowby, so for safe measure i replaced the plugs and now no more sputter  , but it still bogs when i put my foot to the floor  , so maybe tps sensor, maybe iat? Gonna check them today.

Well, simpler than what i thought i could've been. Number two spark plug wire was shot, got a new set coming in monday or tuesday. But were all fixed up for the most part!
