okay I figured I might as well start a build thread though it will be quite some time before I get it finished. I am in the process of trying to aquire parts. I am starting with a 1996 240sx that I am building into a drift car. So far the interior has been completely gutted. The plans are to do a v8 swap into this. The suspension will get coilovers, and the interior will be left bare, with the exception of a cage, and 2 racing seats. I have not yet decided on leaving the factory fuel tank, or putting a cell into the trunk area. I will update as I aquire parts, and get projects done. First is going to be the removal of the existing ka24de and trans. If someone can tell me how to post pics I will get some up of where I am starting from.

okay quick update,... I just picked up an Lt1 complete for $300. So I guess I know what my powerplant is going to be. Next step is my trans. I have a good lead on a t5 that is in a running camaro that I can get for $100.

Well I decided on a t56 tranny. I will be picking it up after work. And I just ordered a new clutch for it. So I should be good on parts needed to start mocking up my fab work to do the swap. Tranny came from a 93 lt1 camaro so everything should bolt up nice.

Well I just scored a chevy 11 nova pan with pickup tube and screen off craigslist for $50.00. So I am getting closer on my parts. I can't wait to start putting this thing together.

Well I am slowly gathering parts,... Just got some new racing seats and a steering wheel in the mail. I hope to start fabricating for the motor swap next week.

well still gathering parts,... I now have a new wiring harness with the ecu flashed for everything that I am using, and not using. I have a walbro fuelpump, fuelcell, Alum.radiator, ac delete pulley, 3/4 bore clutch mc. geting closer to putting this together.
