I have been searching online, and want to know what a good music making program is?

I am looking for something free, lol.. I guess with potential to buy...

Fruity Loops if you want a good beginner program. Ableton, Logic, Cubase, or Pro Tools if you wanna jump right into the big stuff.

I like Reason and Acid. Mostly cuz its what I have messed with most but FLstudio is fun too.

Just try a few out and you will just like one better for one reason or another.
