Maybe another driver could put it even lower than me. I live in Orlando FL and we have a great track here but it rains every time I want to go. I want to go real soon because I havent ran it with the new clutch and this J30 diff so we will see. Or the 300z front brakes.
whats your 60ft time? Are you losing traction? seems to me with what you're pushing for torque and horse you should be close 13.9 especially with the cams you installed--whats the rpm of the cams? when does the power start and stop? I brought my 240 to the strip and got a time of 14.8 @93 and thats with basic mods (on a side note I launched at 4,000 and now my clutch needs replacing) Find out the rpms of the cam and try to launch either in the middle of the power band or 500rpms up, you should be able to drop that time at least half a second or more!! YOU CAN DO EET!! thats a lot of work you did on that car!! or bump the timing by 2 degrees up and shoot again. When we go to lebanon we pay 65.00 for 3 launches so the first launch is our base run, the second is after we do a little tweaking, and the third is the charm!! I had to bump my timing up 4 degrees to get a time like that but also I ran with only 1 gallon of 108 and took my back seats out; my spare tire, and my kicker and used my 15 inch rims and sprayed my tires with traction glue as I like to call it. Unfortunately after 3 passes the tires are like melted rubber but it's the price you pay right?
