So, my wife's 08 Sentra comes with that auxillary jack for MP3 players, and I really dig that option as I can use my Blackberry to play music thru it as well. I have an '07 Versa S that I'd like to have that very same option. Is my best bet to get a dealer installed 6 disc cd player with aux option? Or are there affordable options out there from Best Buy or Circuit City? The reason I ask is that I hate having a stereo that sticks a few inches out from the dash because of the adaptors they use.

I appreciate any and all information!

You can look on ebay for a aftermerket deck you like that has it.. If you get the SL deck from nissan its like $300 and people on ebay sell them for $250.. If you go to best buy or circuit city you'll be paying a lot too, you can look at their decks and find it on ebay for half the price or so.. I got mine for $250 and its was $450 at Best buy..

for my last car I got a Deck from Bestbuy, their brand I believe "Dual". It came with aux jack, usb, and bluetooth as was $99.99. Of course it was a single din, however you could get creative a fill the other din. Other wise, it looks like any Aftermarket Double-Din is going to cost just as much as the OEM Deck. However the installation may be the difference because I believe Bestbuy does free install on any deck over a certain price, and I am sure the price is below $300....Good luck

Here is a pic of the Clarion unit I installed. I got it from Crutchfield and it came with the Scosche adapter & wiring harness. It had aux-in in the rear, so I wired it into an adapter and put it next to the microphone.
