I bought some Moog Endlinks for my 2003 GLE, and was about to install them until I noticed that they do not have an inner flange nut like the oem's.
Posts on maxima.org suggest using washers to space the linkend but they also cite exaples of it coming loose. The nut that comes with the Moog's has a locking limit at the top so you can't thread the nut down very far.

Has anyone experienced problems installing them and having them loosen, and is everyone using washers on the inner side??

Thanks,

Phil

Are these inner or outer? Snap a pic and post it up so we can see what it is you're talking about.

Ohhhh. Sway bar end links. Install as they are. No need for washers. Moog is WAY better than the OEM imo.

Sorry,

There is considerable data from my post from people replying on Maxima.org and from many other posts that hardened washers are needed. The lower mount hole is an oblong slot. The moot inner nut has a very small surface area and if a large washer is not used, even if torqued correctly, the moog endlink will slip.

The moog has a very poor design in that particular aspect, though the joint itself may be strong.
