anything that you want off the S15 will have to be modified to fit your car. you should of just went with the S14 or an S14a and made life easier for yourself check out the targets site IDK the site name it maybe target.jp.co or something i don't remember no vents! if you are worred about your brakes being hot then you should invest in carbon brakes, crossed drilled/slotted rotors and 18" 5 spoke rims.

the only thing a widebody dose is widen the stance. a bigger hood isn't necessary. ie the hood is the same minus the vents. i hope you plan on putting a lot hp's in your car man b/c with all this weight, you ain't go any where.

There is a target wide front bumper . .and autoimaging.com is selling it for $950.00. There are wide fenders for that too, but the guy I talked to on the phone named ADAM said tha tthey're working on getting them available, right now they're not available, but will be soon. So the hood that I want, the one in the pic I linked, that says HKS power on it . .will that fit on my conversion nicely?

i doubt it. it looked like an aftermarket s15 hood, which will be a little different, even if you do the front end conversion.

I only plan on working on my S13 for the remainder of my life, so I have to put time effort and a lot of money into it. I'm 18 right now, soon to be 19, and by the time I'm 22 . . I want this car as close to done as possible. And by done I mean in every single way. Whatever modifications I have to do, I will get done, no matter how long it takes me. I live and die for my S13, it's what I run home from work every day to go see in front of the garage. I'll post some pics of it soon. I used to love Honda Prelude's but with the S13 and Silvia's and 240's . .it's an all new kind of love all over again. I think that HKS hood will fit perfectly on my wide body Target bumper and sides. I'm far from getting all the planning done. I've got a spreadsheet on my computer dedicated to my car, and so far I've got about 5 pages of mods and parts available for those mods. I'll try and post that spreadsheet when I'm done.

i hope that you have a sh*t load of money. When ever your working on your daily driven car, sh*ts allways going to happen. I hope that you have another car or something before you go in debt with this!?

p.s: S13 and 240's are all classified as silvia's

I drive my brothers E320 right now, but I am working on getting an Acura Legend for my daily driver, and then work on my S13 as my project car. I know that financial hardships lie ahead of me, but I live with my folks and dont plan on moving out till I'm about 22 . . so I should be okay as long as I have a decent job and try not to spend my money on anything else but food, transportation, and necessities.

PS - It will have more than enough HP, trust me, me and Nismo_Freak are gonna take care of that.

PSS - I wont be adding that much weight to the car to make a huge difference in Accel / Decel times, and 1/4 mile times. We will take the weight off at other areeas.

PSSS - Having a nice sound system will help my launch.

PSSSS - 100lbs on the car only adds about .1 seconds to the time.

OKAYYY well I just found out that there is extreme amounts of rust on my car so I am selling it. Rust is like cancer to the chassy and my mechanic said that it's untreatable . . the rust is on the sides. I just bought a 95 240sx now . . the S14. I bought it from STAR NISSAN, a licensed dealership for $5,000 with 88k miles, leather seats, am, fm, cd player, alarm, low jack, manual transmission, black interior, dark purple interior. I signed the deal today, will go and pick it up this saturday . . I will pos pics . . so now . .I think my s15 front conversion will go smoother and look better . . . no more s13 guys . . .

when it comes down to after market bumpers right?gosho: aaaah your first pot whole. be prepared to run into a lot more then just that one. even when you think your done...your not! there will all ways be more problems. (if you don't have a daily car and you drive your "show-go"car the whole time.)

Where? The 240 is a 240 in the U.S. and is not a Silvia. A 180SX in Japan is just that. Again, not a Silvia. I wish my S13 was a Silvia, but alas, it is not and never will be. Even with a full conversion it is still a 240SX.

i don't like saying 89-93.94, 95-96, and 97-98 240sx. it's too much typing. (lazines the best to go) and if thats the case, why do som many people all over this board refer to them as silvias. s13, s14 has been posted all over these boards when referng to someone's car and nobody has them. i know the difference. just keep'n it real yo :)

Well, first of all, the people that refer to 240's as "Silvias" are wrong. Silvias were never exported to the U.S. Everyone else got them, like in Japan, England, Austrailia, etc., but not us.

The nomenclature of "s13" or "s14" is the chassis code and shows differentiation in vehicle generations, not model names such as "Silvia" or "240SX". The chassis is the same between the two cars, as far as the s13/s14, but not the driveline or interior or trim. Thus it is accurate to say that we have members that have s13's and s14's, but not Silvias (at least not in the States; we have members overseas that have them).

This was not an attack directed toward you, but rather a clarification. ;)

Damn, I let one thing slip and you guys get on my ***, lol. That's cool though, alright then . . so my "1995 Nissan 240SX" is my new car and I'm picking it up tomorrow. I've decided to get a Jet Black paint job, preferabbly two black nismo bucket seats . . each is gonna be about 1K or is it 1K a pair? No, it's 1k each, i'm pretty sure, the paint wil cost me up to 2k, ause i'm gonna get clear coats and multi-layers of black so it looks super clean, as far as the dash . . everything's gonna be black. . the gauges are gonna have to be replace to indiglo gauges , I'm going to add boost controllers, and eveyr other electrnoic device that I like ,i'll probably end up getting all the apexi products, the electonics should cost me about 5k all togethor, the shift knob is gonna be nismo, the e-brake handle . .if i can get nismo, otherwise any nice looking one, the interior is gonna be either all black or black and blue, i might get custom paint scheme inside which will cost me about 5k for the entire interior. Then the sound system . .i'm gonna limit that to about 8k, the body kits all togethor should cost me about 8k, and installation should cost me 2k, total of 10k. the engine will cost me 3k, installation of the engine and custom work making it about 500hp will cost me aproximately . . .20k according to nismo_freak and his secret . ."recipe". So yeah . . I think in all . . it should stay less than 50k total work, and my goal is to get it done in 4-5 years, which means I have to spend 10-12.5 k a year on my car. Which . . is possible because I make more than twice that much and dont have many other expenses cause i live with my folks . .hehe, god bless em.

You still live with your parents? Spending your money on a car instead of an apartment? Hell, you got your prioities straight, car then living space, but you have to live somewhere besides at home. Unless you're too young to move out? I dunno, whatever, sounds like a beast, have fun.

haha, you guys would hate me even more now, now that the s14 I bought is done with the body work, its coated in jet black paint, and is covered with the s15 target wide body kit, including all fenders and bumpers. It makes the car about 5 or 6 inches wider, I don't drive that though . . cause like someone suggested . . I wwill need a daily driver since the s14.5 is gonna be upwards of 600 horsepower . . . hopefully, and so I bought an 89 240sx fast back which is doing just nicely . . hmmmmmmmm, smells like cigarette buds inside tho..

PS - I still don't have the wing on it yet. I have this stupid little ricer wing on the fast back tho from the previous owner. for the s14.5 . . . I want the prodrive ferrarri's wing. OHHH mannnn, that chit is buttazz. And it's not rice . .it will have a function when I'm driving down a track going 210mph .. . HUAHAHHAAAA!!!!

Please. . . seriously. . I need to see this one. . .

I still think you're insane but if you're actually tellin the truth about all the stuff you're doing to the 240 then it's the BEST kind of "insanity". . .

If you can back up what you're saying, that's one bad a§§ car! I would love to see it. So you have the widebody kit on now? If I were to build a show car, VeilSide kit would be my choice, add a Cwest wing and the car will look great. Unless you have lots and lots of money, making a 500hp show car is NOT a realistic goal. Realisticly you can either go for speed or looks. That said, good luck on your car, POST SOME PICS :rolleyes , or not one will believe you.
