this just started happening latley. i have my S14 turbo on, and it didn't do it on the dyno. on the low end, if i mash the gas below 4000RPM, the car will buck and misfire. but as soon as i reach 4000RPM, it smooths out and pulls like crazy. what the heck's going on? i'm gonna change the plugs 1st, then go from there.

An intercooler piping leak would be my first guess.

boost comes on pretty quick and doesn't fluctuate, but it won't make over 5psi. on the dyno it was making 6.5-7psi. the thought never crossed my mind.

Get a can of Carb cleaner and start spraying all the connections on the intercooler, turbo, and manifold. I'll bet you find a leak.

is the ECU throwng any codes? possibly coolant or knock sensor.

checked all the connections. they're tight and sound. i didn't get around to changing my sparks, so i am gonna try that tomorrow.

replaced the sparks, all is well.

i can't wait to get my 550's on with the NISMO FPR. i turned the boost up to 10psi yesterday and got on it in 2nd gear. when it hit 10psi i started loosing traction and let off. i'm affraid of breaking something. i can't wait to turn the boost up to 18psi.
