Hey all, there is a guy around town selling this car, the hood has some damage as does the drivers side front headlight, there is a tiny amount of rust on the read 1/4 panel, and i've yet to check the frame. I've talked him down to $200, is it worth it? I just want to resto the car, i know it won't be worth much but after i having it looking presentable then maybe drop a turbo engine into it. It's a goldish color, and the interior seems to be in reasonable decent shape, i can't remember the exact milage but i think it was around 175k. I'm going to look at it again soon, anything i should look for specifically, the kids not gonna know the service records or anything like that so i'll prolly have it trailered out if i get it even though he says it does run.

So any advice would be great. and thanks a ton

hard to go wrong for $200, it's worth nearly that in scrap

in general I find it best to spend mroe and get the best car you can afford and repairs and replacement aprts can get real expensive real fast, but hey, I started wiht a $200 Z31 as well

Well thank's for the bit of advice, i'll take some pictures when i get a chance, i've been putting alot of miles on my Subaru and would like to delay that as long as possible so i figured a bit of work on a 200 car might be worth it, and i'm sure that even if it turns out to much for me to handle it will be a great learning experience.
