Hey dantech, I have a 1993 240sx fastback with cruise control and I'm trying to replace my beaten up headlight and wiper stalks but I have a question. From looking at the parts catalog, I can order each stalk independently (part #'s 25540-F00 and 25980-40F01) but it also looks like I can order the entire assembly (part # 255560-41F00) which appears to include two more plastic pieces that surround the steering shaft for less money. My question is this: In the online catalog, a distinction is made between s13s with cruise control and those without if you try and order the entire assembly but no distinction is made if you try and order each stalk independently. What's the deal? I'd like to order the whole assembly and save $20 but I really don't want to order the wrong parts. Please advise at your earliest convenience.

Hi Dan, Can you source service tools? I don't have the mfg'r p/n available(it's listed in the FSM), and worse, the local Nissan shop wouldn't order tools for me(prolly because they'd loose service).

Anyways, I need the valve bucket shim removal tool: it's simply a formed piece of metal, but it it's nice to have the proper tool. From what I understand it is used to keep the spring/bucket compressed to remove the adjustment shims(w/out the need to remove the cams). Below is a picture, but note that I don't need the red-handled piece.

Thanks greatly!-Jamie KPS - I can be contacted via email or at five-seven-zero,320-1855

The kit 25560-41F00 is no longer available. Its changed into whats called a "service file". The replacements are divided into three numbers, 25540-44F00, 25260-44F00, and 25567-41F00. You need to buy these parts together as a replacement for the kit. I cant get the kit anymore.

Hi Dan,

I need a quote on the following parts:

Engine Coolant Temp SensorFinisher Rear Parcel Shelf, Side LHFinisher Rear Parcel Shelf, Side RH

I also think there are two clips, something like 79920E and 79910E, but I'm not sure if there are two to each side or just two on one side.

Thanks!
