I broke the plastic coolant bleeder valve in my '12 M56 base in the course of looking for a coolant leak.

I purchased this metal replacement part from Z1 motorsports and it fit perfectly: https://www.z1motorsports.com/z1-produc ... 11190.html .

I'm very happy with the part and it arrived in less than a week. Hope this helps someone who might be looking for a similar replacement part.

Thanks for sharing this! My mechanic noticed that the plastic screw has gotten loose over time and was spraying a most towards the front of the engine. Tightening fixed it but I’m sure over time it’ll loose again.

Was swapping this out for the metal screw hard to do?

It was easy. I'd recommend getting the new hose clamps when you swap the part.
