probably because you're in MA....

but on the plus side, you can fix the lips and get new springs and followers for them.

How do prebans work. Are they in some way marked? If all they need are beat-up looking mags they can be had at surplus stores or take new ones and "distress" them.

Pre bans are any high capacity mags manufactured before 94 (sep 13,14or24 I don't remember) We still have an AWB here in MA so if you aren't a LEO or MIL it is a felony to posses mags made after 94. Pmags and other newer type mags that weren't around before the ban are obvious other then that you kind of need to know what to look for. Some have manufacture dates most don't though. It truly is a pain in the a**. Not to mention paying a premium for something you can get very cheap in another state.

There are also companies selling new mags as prebans which is scary because they sell them to us at gunshows here and don't tell anyone about it. There is always a sucker who ends up buying them. The hoops i had to jump through to even get my carry permit where crazy enough. Used glocks in ma can run upwards of 800-900 ridiculous.

When I move back to the states, the laws that affect things I enjoy like guns will be a make or break think. NY, Ca, etc, never gonna happen.

IL can be fairly stupid as well as Iowa.

the entire Southeast is cool though.

Arkansas is probably the worst.

Certain guys in Arkansas fear jealous wives who don't appreciate the amount of game they possess.

I think MA is worse than CA with regards to guns. We can buy new mags as long as they're not over 10rd capacity. You can have assault weapons but there are a few hitches that need to be watched for. Bullet buttons and stuff like that on the ARs.

Took the acr to the range today bought a couple pre ban mags i need more though. I think my friend took a video. Put about 600 rounds through it no problems at all. It loves M885 and XM193. The people next to me would have to stop shooting because of the muzzlebrake that came on it. Nice for me sucks for them oh well.

Reliable, accurate, and addictively fun. The safety is a bad design and the sights are plastic but the gun overall is great. I highly recommend it for training and plinking.

I've contemplated getting one of them too...I dunno, it's just a small pistol in my hands.

Right now I wanna get a Ruger Single Six to fill my .22 pistol desires.

I like having the option of swapping cylinders and shooting WMR's out of it.

though I will say, the GSG 1911 .22lr looks tempting, it's well made, seems to shoot good and function well from anything I've read so far.

you can get them for a hair over 300 at Bud's guns...

Awesome NEWS!!!!!

The ACR gets to go back to bushmaster this week, why you ask. Because they are all getting recalled due to slamfiring through mags and going full auto.... In over 5k rounds mine has done neither. In the rentals at a range I frequent in the 50k rounds they haven't had any problems..
