Here is a video i uploaded from when i was at the track 2 months ago. This run was one of my worst but its fun to watch in my opinion.

I stutter boxed(3500) off the line and slipped the clutch most of the way through first gear. When the clutch was fully engaged i was in full boost and ripped the tires loose anyways. I then slow shifted to second and as soon as full boost the tires ripped loose again. I then no-lift shifted into 3rd and spun all the way through that gear. 4th gear the tires finally grabbed and i took off. The time slip read as.

me jettaR/t 1.304 .85460' 2.522 2.431330 6.928 6.7241/8 10.279 10.208MPH 74.36 70.041000 12.968 13.2091/4 15.124 15.734MPH 105.92 88.88http://videos.streetfire.net/p...0317D

My best run was actaully slightly better.60' 2.4981/4 14.569MPH 107.44

I hate to say it, but it's time to change that suspension, put some radials on that thing, and possibly invest in some type of locking differential. You have a 12 second pulsar on your hands, but you'll never see it unless these changes are made. CAr sounds good though and it also makes me proud to see my FWD CA18DET brethren get out to the track to for some fun. I'm going to to try and make it tomorrow. I'm changing the head in a few minutes, but thanks for the video and the update on your ride "looks good to me".......

yeah man, with a 107+mph trap speed you should be looking at some much lower times. ill bet that car is a blast!

Thanks guys, i appreciate the compliments.

My plans for next year are some more tuning to get the most out of my setup, some sort of LSD. I was thinking phantom grip or trying to make a custom setup. Some tires are on the top of the list also. I might get some actual slicks or get a pair of drag radials for the street/strip.

As for the suspension i do have the full NISMO setup. I just dont know where to start with the adjustments. The struts are 4 way adjustable. I had all 4 corners on the stiffest setting on those runs. Any advice on how a FWD should be setup would be great.

yea, generally you want a FWD car set at full stiff at all 4 corners to keep the weight from shifting to the rear. The drag radials and an LSD will help tremendously. Don't even screw with the Phantom grip. It's crap. Get a real one. Clutch type, or Helical, don't scew with the Viscous.
