before or after the t splitter... btw its a turbo xs ... i hear i can run 10 on stock fueling before knock occurs. is that correct, i dont wanna hurt my engine it just got finished last weekend. thanks and im glad to be in the ca community!

knock won't occur unless temperatures are soaring, you're using the SMIC, you have 87 octane fuel in your tank and/or your timing is advanced too much. The set-up you are referring to requires you take the vacuum hose from the turbo's compressor housing and run it to your boost controllers IN line. And the wastegate actuator's hose should be hooked to the out of the boost controller. Hope this helps and welcome............

thanks.. im monitoring everything, and i dont wanna run too lean, but i dont have an a/f gauge.. wide or narrow, so what would you reccomend be the max boost on the ca t25 w/ stock fueling. thanks

Keep it around 12psi for max turbo and engine life. As long as your system is sealed from air leaks and associated dramas you will hear of on this forum, your car should perform as the engine did when it was in it's JDM host.

i haven't read the stickies lately but i have noticed this question about max boost on stock everything pop up a lot often. someone, if not boost_boy himself, should sticky his last post.
