Thats the receipe I coppied when I made mine, except dual ball bearing. Parts were like 10 bucks

Holds boost steady, and doesn't spike.....3 years running.

But yeah, just tee it in directly between the actuator and compressor housing....and use the shortest vac lines as possible......running long vac lines especially all the way to the inside of the car will cause boost creep

alright. Yea im on my way to Ace hardware in a little bit to get the parts. Is there any pluses to the "Dual" ball bearing? I think the only thing im gonna try different is instead of cutting a plug for the one end off and tap it and what not, i was gonna see if i could get a allen head bolt to fit directly into the Tee itself.

btw, there is a "Y" like piece with a hose that goes to the compressor housing, the wastegate, then to nowhere? were would that lead to? could i just remove that little "Y" like piece and put my MBC there?

I don't know if there is any advantage with 2 ball bearings....only thing I discovered is it prevents the adjusting bolt from binding on the spring like it does without a bearing under the adjusting bolt. When I would adjust the bolt, the spring would slip off of the bolt....with the bearing on top of the spring, it stays seated on the bearing, and the bearing stays seated/ centered on the bolt. I didn't have to cut that adaptor like shown in your link....the adaptor on mine is just how I bought it......although I still had to thread the hole for the adjusting bolt to screw into.

I think the "y" piece of hose is part of the secondary butterfly system....which I don't have installed at the moment. I just have a short piece of hose that goes from the actuator to the compressor housing nipple with the line from the mbc tee'd in between

so to hook it up, i would just put the bottom end of the MBC say towards the actuator, and then the side end of the MBC towards the compressor housing? Im a little confused. Also, i think my channel in the MBC i just built is a little tighter and that the spring wont slip off the bolt.

According to the diagram, and from memory on mine.....the side port goes to the actuator, and the bottom port goes to the compressor housing.

Did you drill a tiny hole in the side port? Suppose to prevent boost creep or something.

ummm stupid question...

do you need BOV for MBC? or could you just have it on WGA? i dont want to overboost and be SOL...

no....you don't need a bov to use a mbc....a bov has nothing to do with overboosting
