2007 Maxima 3.5 SL - Black Ext - Charcoal Leather Int - DPP - CVT - Sunroof - Spoiler - No Nav - Indianapolis IN

I have a question regarding the smart key fob ... Does anyone else have to actually hold the fob within 18 inches (or so) of the dash to get the system to recognize the fob? I can't "leave it in my pocket" and my wife can't "leave it in her purse" like I've read online.

Have only had the car 1 week but, overall, this is one nice car!!! :-)

Proud owner of a brand new Dark Slate '07 Maxima SE. Fully loaded with everything but NAV. Time for some modding.

This is my 3rd Max. '87 Dark Red SE 210K miles (traded-in) / '95 White SE 295K miles (still own and in full operation)
