Maxima 99 won't start, security light blinking.

Please help, my car won't start. I have a new battery, starter tested and ok, fuses, connections ok. Keyless remote works fine, I suspect immobilizer. When I turn the key, dashboard lights light up. sometimes I hear one crank and then nothing, then when I try again and again - no sound at all. Security light is blinking.The car is sitting on my driveway, is there anything we can try before towing it to the dealership? resetting the immobilizer? if so, how?Any suggestions will be appreciated, thanks!

my best guess is the startertry hitting the starter with somekind of a pole while cranking might start

try the key in the door my friend q45 does the same thing some times
