Hi guys,

This is my First post here.

I own a Max 98 GXE A/T with VQ30DE engine.

I checked on Ebay and Amazon for Exhaust Header. My Max is already upgraded with the Injen CAI and now it's time to upgrade the full Exhaust starting on the header. I just wish to tuning it very basically like the Injen + Unichip/AEM PiggyBack + Exhaust.

The question is : Those Ebay Y-pipe + Header worth the change or just let the Stock Headers and change only from the Catco area till the Muffler?

Like this one : http://www.ebay.com/itm/Exhaust-Headers ... 5890855e9a

What is the diameter I must use to avoid the car loss the backpressure and also loss some torque in low/mid rev ? 2.25 ou 2.5 Inches?

P.S. : sorry for my english, I live in Brazil and English is not my primary language.

Thanks in advance

Best Regards!

If you are not going Forced Induction anytime soon, just leave the stock exhaust manifolds.

Great to know that.

I just leave the stock Manifold + Stock Y-pipe. I created a custom B-Pipe with a custom resonator and leave the exhaust in 2.25 inches. I`m waiting the N1 Muffler in Inox to arive to swap.

My intake I put back to the Stock, I felt it more low end torque and power than the Injen. Nows the car passes thru 110mph, Injen just stuck in that speed, the stock I was able to reach 135mph.

Best Regards!

Rafael
