I am in need of changing one of the little maker lights located inside the headlamp.

I have tried to loosen the light by removing the bolt at the top of the headlight thinking it should slide or pop out. It seems to be movable but doesn't come out. I'm a bit hesitant to pull on it as I'm not sure if it's bolted in place at the base of the light or is held in place with a grommet and pin.

Can anyone help?

There's a small metal ball protruding from the turn signal that presses into the headlamp's female "ball receiver". If you've removed the screw connecting the turn signal to the headlamp then just pull the turn signal straight forward. It will pop out.

Mike... are you describing the setup on his G35 or on a Q? From what I have seen the G's setup is pretty difficult to access. Might be worth downloading the FSM at http://www.phatg20.net

Here's a direct link to the download page.

The file is compressed into a .rar file, so you'll have to find a decompression utility. Try a google search and you'll find several shareware programs that will work.

Good luck!
