ky to key west shouldn't have taken that long. the map thing in yahoo says it should have been in under 20 hours. in our ford pickup i averaged over 75mph going from some state park near austin to my house, with a kayak on the roof, including a stop for gas! knocked at least 1/2 hour of the drive.

i forgot to add in the moron factor because the passengers were forced to drink OJ and vodka so we had to stop and urinate every 30 minutes. but for whatever reason, i remember it being withing 10 minutes of exactly 24 hours...hmmm. I just fly now.

damn, if every one shows this will be a hell of a meeting near half the people that actively post in the 240 section should be there!!! i really hope my Ca is running good enough for that drive by then !!!! i got the starter problem fixed, well it kinda fixed itself !! but now the car wont idle or respond too great, to throttle, so on with more trouble shootin and stuff !! the FMIC ported manifold along with my GT2530 turbo will be here either thursday or friday !!! so if i can get the fuel support stuff togther i might be running 300hp !! im hoping to get some 14s high 13s ive never been on a drag strip so who knows how itll go!ill race anyone !!! just dont laugh at me when i lose horribly !

March 8th, $20 to race, $5 to watch. A lot of people spending the night because there is test & tune on Sun. morning ($10) as well... not to mention hanging out Sat. night. We might get lucky and find some street racing if anyone wants to crush some domestics.

Hey Fred, what happened to the sticky? I was talking to Dauntt yesterday and asked him to put it in the other threads too, but I'm afraid he got rid of it altogether...the link still works in my signature, but it's not at the top anymore. If you can, make it an announcement like EZcheese did about Daytona so EVERYONE knows about it.

Just came to my attention today, I may not be able to drive my car......if I drive it, no racing, maybe test and tune for me maybe not even that I dunno. My rear end alignment is not right. In order for it to ever be fixed I'll have to take it to the Dealer but I dont have money for that sooo....no alignment fixing on that. I'm going to have a new axle put on the car Thursday b/c the axle is REALLY bad. :( I hope it will be fine and I hope I can still come to the meet.....I'll still have my money and chris like you posted in another thread I CAN still afford $30 so that aint my problem. I just hope the axle will just keep me going til the car is paid off and I own me a nice lil Nissan soon.

but for me even wanting to race my car is unsure. My mom wants to sue the guy that sold the car to me but I dont think its worth it. But I'm pushing hard to be there. :)

good luck with it. hey, the USA is sue happy right now, so might as well join the bandwagon. if you think you have a strong enough case to win, go for it. but otherwise, just live and learn.

Probably go with live and learn......I'm sort of p!$$ed off from my mom right now. I guess she has something against me just asking for a ride up to KY. I just want rid of the car now....but cant do that until later if ever now. :( I dunno if I'm still coming up early like I wanted to now, I have family that is against everything I want to do and their just getting even more upset about this meet. I'm hearing lectures on everything about it but I'M coming one way or another. Just deciding on whether to drive the car or not now. Mom heard it was my front alignment that was screwed over bad, I heard it was the rear so there is arguement on what I say about my car now. Its totally going out of whack. Anyways not to get off topic but I think my car will be fine once I get that axle fixed. I'm just screwed with a bad alignment for a while. :( oh well.

Also if you dont wanna race you dont have to.

You can just hang out if you like.Or if you wanna find out what your times are with the white rims on, u can run those.Or run with and w/o them to see the difference.

Or just watch if you like, no pressure or anything.

In the event I get to come (and I am if the fight I'm gonna be in w/ my GF for going doesn't leave me disabled), how much cash should I bring for getting into the track, etc.
