BP2000: When you take your bottle to be filled, what does your bottle psi gauge read? And also, for each run, how many psi's does it normally drop? I have the ZEX kit and it seems to drop about 300 psi's each time I use it. That seems a little excessive to me, but I'm not sure. Is this normal? Thanx!

after i get it filled, it depends on who fills it. Alot of times i get hooked up by friends, and they cram 12 pounds in the 10 pound bottle making it read about 1050. After the first spray it drops to about 900. After that i usually get about 6 semi long sprays before it starts droping. Then from 7th spray it goes to like 700. then 9th spray down to like 500. Then its just a waste. Reason my pressure stays so high is bottle heater. With 100 shot i get about 8 good sprays out of a bottle. With 75 shot i got about 12-14. With 50 shot, alot. Let me know if anyone is interested in kit.. dont be shy with anyquestions you might have. Chris

How much does it cost (not the friend's hook-up price) to fill a 10lb bottle?

depends on where you go. You will probably have to check with people in your state. I have heard people in other states getting it for like 3 dollars a pound. Here in chicago its 3.50-4.00 dollars a pound. So to fill the bottle with 10 pounds of nitrous its 35-40 bucks.

They use nitrogen for top of the line guns and for cold weather because it doesn't turn into a liquid(lower freezing point than co2) and its more consistent.

THey use C02 for cheap guns and medium priceds markers in moderate/ hot weather

n20 can be used as well as any compressed air.

Tino is that n20 for a car? Pure nitrous oxide. Probably not, it contains sulfer dioxide. Your paintball gun has a 20 lb bottle? or a 20 oz bottle. 20 oz is 1 pound 4 oz. 20 pound bottle of nitrous would be like 40 pound bottle full.

Hey, I didn't mean to say that CO2 was for only cheap medium guns(150-400) but most high end guns use nitrogen and are set up with bottles, lines and regulators for it. What kind of gun do you have tino?

hey bp2000 that is nice! money well spent as far as im concerned

ya 20 lbs of air would be like a 1.1 inch square all the way up to space!

Maine just curious are you interested in the kit at all? or should i start asking around other places. The offer is good to anyone on the 240 boards that would like it for 500. The more the bottle sits in my room, the more i want to throw it on the sr20. :)

I'm still pondering. By all means, don't wait for me if you have another buyer... I won't be offended. I still need to look around, I haven't had much time lately. I'll email you tomorrow and give you a definite yes or no.

cool. No other buyer. And to be honest im not in any hurry at all. I just need to get the lines out of the car, so if you want it, i need to get my lazy *** up and do it. I wish i could have a couple 40 degree days. This -10 degress just isnt working for me. Its so cold my 85000 btu heater doesn't even keep me warm. :(

Man, just sold my Tippman carbine. Hopefully can get an A-5 in a few months.

Any one know if they have come out with an electronic triger assembly for it yet?

Yeah I've got myself a pretty nice Auto****er with a nitrogen setup. (as well as a Shocker S/F Turbo on Co2) I dont think it's nitrous OXIDE though, just nitrogen. I'm not totally sure on that, correct me if I'm wrong.

Yeah the nozsle system from holley makes direct port so simple. I am switching my wet system over to that as soon as they email me the price on the components. I'll let everyone know how it goes.

bp2ooo,

Thank you for the offer, and I'm sorry it took me so long to make up my mind, but I just bought a NX kit with their new universal fuel rail. I'll buy that bottle warmer off you if the price is right!!
