I think that this is in the works. Was it rsiwicki who is working on this comparison, I think?

Well RSI will have headers and exhaust.. I think this will put him over the top Of the M. Not to mention he has a level ten and modified TC.. I think he will slaughter an M. Would be cool nontheless. I want to see any G50 vs M45 comparison.

The M runs mid 14s at 98 or so. We've already seen Qs runs higher traps then this.

I want to see a Q with JWT ecu/tcu and 4.08 run vs the M.

Of course maybe the M becomes faster as mileage adds on. I always thought the 1/4 mile of the M and Q were a bit weak.

They should be able to hit high 13s with triple digit traps, given 340 hp. E class mercedes with 300 or so hp have ran high 13s at 101 to 102.. BMWs new line of v8s also breaks into the 13s and crosses the triple digit mph mark.

Both of these have less HP then the M/Q..

Wohoo.. Greg.. your car is near done.. You have a 4.08 currently, but no JWT yet, right? You guys should hook up and race.. Cool to a 94+ race an M45.. when I get mine in working order I will oblige of course.. I like talking smack, but I love the M..

Russ you lucky SOB.. you have AC seats in AZ!! Tell me how this feature works out in the scorching summer.. Is it all its' cracked up to be.. I would be using this feature daily if it works well..

Also how is the smartkey.. Can it do the lexus thing and unlock the doors for you, when you get close to it.. like you don't have to push any buttons it just senses you and takes care of it?

No on both counts. Cooling in the seats is very weak, and the key works like any normal key (or at least modern ones with a chip them), it just integrates the remote fob and key into one piece.

I'm so disappointed :(

That makes me a sad sad panda.. Darn I thought Infiniti had the smartkey less lexus...

I guess it will probably be on the next m45.

Actually, they do have the 'intelligent key' on the FX45, I believe. Our key on the M45 is simply a once-piece design in that the fob actually INCLUDES the key, right along with all the keyless entry/trunk/panic button functions on the fob. When I first picked up the car, it was kinda weird. I was asking the sales guy - 'WHERE'S THE KEY?' And he said, 'that IS the key !!' Kinda neat though ... and yes, the NEW M will have the same intelligent key currently available on the FX45 and like the Lexus.
