M37 Service Engine Soon Light On

My M37 has a Service Engine Soon Light on, on the Dash
I had the Codes read and the only one set is U0164
Anyone have an Idea what this is?

a quick google search came up with this

"U" codes are CAN network related codes, either no connection or no communication between modules. Either something is unplugged or there is an open in the circuit somewhere.

0164 specifically indicates an error in communication between your ECU and the HVAC control system. Did you do anything recently to your radio?

Not trying to state the obvious, but have u made sure the gas cap is tight?

Have autozone or pep boys clear the code and see if it returns. If yes take it to the dealer for warranty repair.

Man what's up with newer M's?! All of these issues reminds me of a GM.
