Thanks! When I get around to buying a passenger replacement I’ll post my experience with repairing the driver side.Yoda's Master wrote: ↑Sun Mar 05, 2023 11:15 amThe motors are almost the same. The base is different, but you can take the internal gears from the passenger side and transfer it to your driver side.
New motors are about $240-250 a side. I posted the part numbers on another post.
Yeah, I saw that. I'm going to replace the passenger side and take it apart. If I'm able to see what needs to be replaced on the driver's side I'll do it myself. If not, the guy in Texas is an option. Thanks!airmanhoward wrote: ↑Sat Mar 11, 2023 12:25 amI saw a guy on EBay out of texas that repairs the mirrors.

my bet is the plastic coupler on the motor to the worm gear. The hole probably wore out and the motor is just spinning.Big_Tone wrote: ↑Thu Mar 16, 2023 6:55 amYeah, I saw that. You're probably right. Hopefully I get to it in the next month or so. Assuming I don't get any new repair surprises.Yoda's Master wrote: ↑Thu Mar 16, 2023 7:46 pmmy bet is the plastic coupler on the motor to the worm gear. The hole probably wore out and the motor is just spinning.
