from what I have seen if you get springs from a G or a Z the spring rate isnt the same. Coilovers though from a G37/370Z will work though. I have seen some a few people get the fortune auto coilovers and mount them on the M.

It does matter the spring rates are different. The m35 are heavier than the g35 and 37.the car will ride like crap trust me I tried it already with the spring from my g35..coilovers are different. coil from the g35x or 37 Will fit the m35x. ..all the rears will fit..

who or what shop lowered the car?? do you have any pix of the Eibach springs? just wondering how old are the springs....

I'm going to be putting my suspension back to stock sport springs and selling my Eibachs....too bad I'm not on the east coast yet, I'd sell them to you - they are legit, 100% Eibachs for the M

So I think dude def sold me some wrong or real F'd springs. It's not rocket science to put on springs so I don't think 2 different shops put them on wrong. The dude who sold them me to put spacers/boosters to lift up the back and even that didn't seem to do much but maybe 1/2 inch. Ugh and now even dude blocked me on Instagram so seems to make it more suspicious he sold me f'd up springs. Now I don't know what to do either buy eibachs brand new or buy coilovers. I hear stories of coilovers makin clunkin noises and blowin after awhile. All puttin a bad taste in my mouth and just puttin my stock springs back on. $480 mistake smfh

Yea I gotta get something ASAP cause who knows what kinda springs these are and I'm bottoming out everywhere. I don't wanna pay to put stocks back then pay to put the new springs back on in a month from now.

^ the rear springs are the "easiest" to have someone or yourself to remove...might just put the rear stock springs back on for the time being until you find a set of coilovers or springs.

If I remember, someone on the forum did a write up on changing out springs and the rears were easy to do.

Either way, I totally understand your point...I'm sure someone in the NYC area can give you a hand...

get some spring compressors from autozone, rent/free take off the fronts and then go back to stock. man hours for you might be longer but cost will be nil

you never know... :gotme

can you take a pix of the rear springs? it's easier to snap a pix of the rears since the shocks aren't in the springs like the fronts.

the fronts should be a thinner coil, while the rears are a wider coil

Yea they weren't on wrong so I ended up just puttin my stock springs back on. This whole thing just pissed me off. $450 down the drain cause of some scumbag. Thanks sugar I don't wanna put anymore money into this suspension s*** right now. Maybe when I cool down I'll pay you for them.

Yea but I'm not the type of dude to just accept stuff. Like I said this all put a bad taste in my mouth and for me to put another $100 into put even your free ones on will upset me lol. Let me see how my wheels are gonna look once I put them on and I may take you up on that offer. Appreciate it though bro.

Great write up!

I am about to pull the trigger from some TEIN S Tech. I want to make sure I get the correct ones. I have a 2008 M45 Sport. From what I see TEIN only has for the M35 V6.

Can anyone confirm that these are what they have been using for their M45 V8 even through they are showing only for the V6?

Tein part number SKP60-AUB00

That is REALLY low in the back. If they are in fact installed correctly, I wonder if someone previously cut a half or full coil out of them. That has to ride horribly!

Maybe there is sometbing comparable that i could run? Also my axle nut threads are decinigrated on the front and i cant install my new front-wheel bearings without spending 800 per axle. PLEASE HELP

You gotta get 'em from the dealer. There are no aftermarket front struts for the M45x. They turn up on ebay every now and then. I suppose you might be able to find a suspension shop to rebuild them?

Guys, what would be your suggestion for only lowering the front? I am happy with my stock 19" wheels and the way back looks. Also my front suspension is not liking the bad Houston roads, so I definitely want to improve the ride a bit if possible with .5"- .8" drop in the front only and most affordable option. Any suggestions? Thank you.
